I think this is a little expensive, that is why there hasn't been much interest. I recently got a single 2gb ddr2 667mhz stick for my netbook for 25$, from my local Micro Center store.

You are right. I just searched the brand name and type of ram before and found nothing under $30 each. I did another search for the same type ram and the cheapest I found was $35 for both. But I did not find any single 2 gig chips for under $40 through. My GF paid $75 for 2 X 2 gig chips and that was the cheapest anywhere. You must have some luck. What store was it? Also you just bought 1? I thought you needed to use them in pairs.

Most netbooks only have 1 slot for a ddr2 module. You don't have to run "most" ram types in pairs; it is only recommended to run ram in pairs for better data channeling. I was very lucky because I only needed one, and there was only one left at the store.
Micro Center is like Newegg or Tigerdirect in store form.

I cant seem to find a 2gb module for less than 30$ online either. I was lucky =)
