The lenses in the projector are not plastic, but they are the wrong kind of lens if you are wanting a beam. They make a really ugly looking spot, look for the "455 lens comparisons" thread over in the 445 board.

Yeah, there was a live stream last night, I don't think it was recorded, but it sounded like kiyoukan's friend/roommate/someone got some pics when they were playing with the projector, so perhaps he'll post those sometime.

Not sure, I caught the end of it, he was solder-bridging the pins for ESD protection.

I think Weller may have a 1 M ohm resistor in-line, like with a wrist strap, but don't quote me on that.

hey every one your lasers are all safe and ready to go in there packages.
the pins are shorted out,
They were going to go out on Friday, but unfortunately i got into an accident in which i am now missing a tooth and cracked another i got out of surgery late Friday. kinda messed up me getting to the post office.
for these who want to see my great smile when i get to my home cpu i will show pics but be warned there is allot of blood.

and no trouble from my side by sending the diodes out on monday. uve done a great job so far. most ppl would have given up a while ago

long story short i am no longer walking to class with my knives in my car.
they got mad when they noticed my wallet had 1$ in it no credit card and no phone...
so you can guse what happened,
it was a mid to early moring class.
so i lost 1$ and 1 tooth and half of another, but the oral surgen put in for my implant post, and is going to put a cap on the other cracked tooth.
so now there is a silver bolt looking thing in my mouth, on sunday i will be able to hook my camera up and show the pics.1 befor surgery of me bitting on a tshirt and one after.
i dont give up, i try harder.

Wow! I'm very sorry to hear that, I wish you a speedy recovery; you need to start carrying a gun and just KILL them next time.......darn low life's out there.

i wish i could but being that they had no blades over 3in if i had a gun i would be in jail.
nothing in life monetary or not is worth a persons life i came out alive and ready to defend but not to kill.
vicodin and muscle relaxants also help.
