Got the idea from Franco's thread about blu-ray diodes (http://laserpointerforums.com/f38/12x-br-diodes-46798.html)

Please reply to this thread or send me a PM with information on your 445nm diode and I'll be happy to keep a complete list of 445 diodes for science! :p

Updated: August 6th
Last updated info is in red.

NB: I'm not updating this anymore.

(LE and HE is low- and high efficieny lense.)

For an alternative Ii/Po graph including bench tests, see here:

Snap! I'll get to work

Or is this thread still useful, since there is already a graph there?

EDIT: The information there is way too thin and outdated. People would have to post detailed info here or there is no point since there is a graph already.

I have a DLP 445nm diode running at ~750mA making 620mW. I'm using a FlexMod2 driver and a z-bolt lab-style heatsink w/fan. The diode has roughly 25 hours on it so far.

I agree that there is not all the info that I want in that thread. However, it will give you a good start AND once people see what info is missing from your graph, they may/will give you the missing info

Perhaps you two can combine forces ;)

Peace,
dave

Diode source xj-a130, Driver is Flex Mod N2, Lense is Aixiz 405, Zbolt lab heatsink, 2hrs so far, working fine, built on 6-11

Waiting on some aixiz lenses and some 18650's to test my handheld.

Messing with the amc7135 @ 1400 mA , the beam is no joke.

now at 1.7A and 2.23A. I can only imagine the power. I am going to get a benchtop digital adjustable PSU, not now but soon , so i can experiment with these powers.

Herrursciences seems to be pioneering the ultra high current tests , im just going to ride the coat tails...

@ HumanSymphony - the most i got out of a microboost is 950mA using a BR testload before the driver itself started overheating and shifting its current output.
