Hey everybody I thought I would start a thread. So we can share our settings for the new 445nm diodes.

Casio A130 diode
Flexdrive v.5 At 750mA
Output is 604mW with aixiz 405nm glass

More and more of these diodes will becoming into our possession. Lets share what mA we decide to go with. If you have a LPM share your output too.

I'll try and make a graph, or chart of everything posted here so we can get a good idea of the power curve of these things. I'll just update this post as the info comes in.

Let me know if I can do anything better with the graph. I was using Francorobs as an example.

Also, i posted a testing of mariomaster on youtube, i write the mA and the mW...

What lens are you using ranged units?
And what current was it at when it was putting out 1W

Lets see your results first. What is the data of your diode?
I hope you got a good one.

Think Im gonna start my first one around say 550-600mA, Ill post back when Ive got the diode in hand, which shouldnt be much longer now, mario is shipping mine tomorrow! Wish I had a new LPM, mine uses wavelength settings, and doesnt have ones for exotic wavelengths.

If I'm not mistaken, he's just posting graphs from other builders for now...

I think I saw that graph on PL...

The graph is not made by rangedunits. You MUST give credit to who made it ranged!

Wow yours seems to be alot more efficient than ranged units... Graph updated.

That's because the lens they used was different. Can OP be updated to mention the lens used (and meter, any difficulty testing - like not all light on lens?) as well?

2nd Build - Labby - AMC7135 driver @ 1.050A - putting out ~1W

3rd Build - Jayrob 18650 - Microboost set to 900mA - putting out ~980mw

I'm also building mine in a 18650 kit. Have you had any trouble with the clicky as of yet (melting)?

EDIT: Also did you use the same lens for both of those? If so then you can clearly see the efficiency go down at this high current :undecided:
