Rayfoss Laser

Rayfoss

Okay, so Rayfoss is still a bit cheap to be putting here, as the products aren't even close to an RPL. But Faona has been getting some extremely high-quality products recently, and the company is so good, I had to put it here. The customer service is among the best, and the newer handheld systems are really nice. Some of the older products she sells are rather cheap, although they still work perfectly well. The torches are also great, so if you want to get a laser torch, check out Rayfoss first thing. If you want a nice laser that you don't want to pay $500+ for, Rayfoss definitely will give the the best quality-per-price deal.

So I'll say that's a yes.

This is what makes me skeptical...

and this....

Two examples of lasers dying and poor customer service.
Does anyone have any positive past experiences of good customer service with Rayfoss?

You can find them in the same threads. Wait a second, till they really solve it. There was more problems about it, you know, not only poor customer service. Patience please, not only because I want to buy from them :-)

Should i buy this?

I've been reading some bad things about the rayfoss website and am kind of skeptical about purchasing from them, but their prices are very reasonable....not to mention, it's waterproof!:wtf:

If not that one, then how about this one?
Focalprice.com offers 854 200mW 532nm Green Beam Laser Pointer (Black)

lol i actually wrote that review of the focalprice laser

they took out the bit i said about the beam divergence. but anyway, i own one. i wrote about it here.

Generally i'm very pleased with it. but it's a quarter of the price of the rayfoss laser, i have no doubt the the rayfoss is better. personally i wanted something that took AA batteries. separately from the actual laser, they notify you of dispatch, give you a tracking number, and you can earn points and things. the experience was quite pleasant.

there are various voucher codes around for focalprice too.

I think that Rayfoss is a very good company and I purchased the 200mW-FLX from them and it has been working perfectly for me. She always answered my E-Mails. I think that the other two threads where just bad luck and she was away from work for a little while and that is why she wasn't responding. But Rayfoss is one of the better companies in my opinion.

PS. Stay Away From FocalPrice

have you ever dealt with focalprice?

You should do a quick search of focalprice here at the forum to get the general opinion of the site. IT'S MOSTLY CRAP, except the green laser goggles, they are OK.

I would order from Rayfoss, its a shame if a few mistakes from their part ruins the reputation gained from months of great customer service and quality.

Focal price sells crap, EXCEPT for ther 532nm laser glasses, very highly rated around here, other than that stay away.

For me, I had my Rayfoss 200mW for almost a month now, of using it at least once a day, and the laser has been working great. My battery is (when i last checked) 3.8V still. So Happy they last long, SoShine 2800mAh.

Know theres people having issues, but there's many who havn't either. At least she doesn't hesitate to replace them.

Issues will be here everytime when you do something or have something. That´s nothig to concern about If bigger part of buyers are happy with that products, and if service and warranty is performed everytime something happens...

I did my research too and it is true that they are some satisfied Rayfoss customer. In the last month, there are a few people including myself who bought defective lasers from Rayfoss and are yet to hear a response from them. I've given up hope and lost $$$. My advice would be to spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Dont give up yet, keep pestering them:poke:
Once your positive they ripped you, open a paypal dispute, and stay in touch with the forum, if rayfoss has gone south, then we will need some people to back it up, they have such a good rep and reviews on here that it will be hard to convince the visitors that such a hgihly rated site here is now on the 'X' list...

Pay Pal doesn't protect non-eBay transactions according to their policy.
