Hi Electron, I want you to know that I was VERY wrong with what I said & did to you, although I kept it private, I still shouldn't have done it, especially after you WERE KIND enough to offer me discounts on the meters that you were selling. (I never told anyone about the discounts). I'm offering out an OLIVE BRANCH of PEACE so that we can get along on the Forum like the 2 adults we are supposed to be. I catch the little snide remarks that you put out there now & then, though i've never done that to you. In fact I suggested to a few people that were after LPM's to PM you to try to help you sell them, but you never knew that 'cause they were PM's. So, can we bury the hatchet between us (& not in each others backs) & converse on occasion like we used to do. True, I am a friend of SenKat's, but it was wrong of me to treat you poorly because of something that went on between you & he. Please consider what I've put down here, give it some serious thought, & get back to me if you would please, as I'd REALLY like to hear what you think,& I'd like to renew our friendship again, if I haven't damaged things beyond repair, OK ? Thanks, for listening,er, reading, Your used to be, & wants to be again FRIEND, rob
you're not really going to find much of anything accurate with a budget of $100, the optical sensor units will give a good estimate of power, but if you plan on testing more than a few lasers just to see if they're generally in spec or not - it would be worth your money to save up and get a thermal based unit like a kenometer from someone here if they'd be willing to sell or the laserbee unit.
Yea that was the whole idea, not to have to question the accuracy of the reading, while I found the hobby meters to be pretty good; they always left a doubt in the back of my mind........now that's gone but then again so is a boat load of $$$$ too :'(
