I have build the red laser just for fun.
The build was a little tricky because I use a buck driver instead of the usual linear driver. The battery negative and the diode negative must not be continuous.
However the diode negative is also the case negative which makes things a little complicated. But I manage to build it.
The specs :
Diode : 660nm LPC-826
Output diode : 264mW, with the optional G lens >300mW
Output buck driver: 446mA
Lens : red AR 3-element glass lens
Power supply : 1x 18650 li-ion rechargeable battery.
Duty cycle : 5min on/ 30 sec off
The price is $80 plus shipping.
PM if you want one or have any questions.
Thanks for watching ! :yh:
***the person must be 18 years or older and know the laser safety rules***
With optional G-lens
