does it still show the same power if the beam is spread out but still all going into the sensor? I would think in order to be accurate it would.

It would be as accurate maybe to within ~5% of the reading of that if it were a smaller. The LPM-1 sensor has some lines that are not sensitive to input as far as I know, but in all my testing a reading with the laser on the line was very close to readings off the line. :)

I noticed Daedal hasn't posted since Dec. 24th, so I'm guessing he's probably been on holiday vacation...

Hopefully we'll get more info soon now that the holidays are pretty much over.
 
Hey all... I'm very sorry for the mysterious "disappearance"... It's been a VERY hectic time of year while trying to juggle family, work, and the hobby and the GB's. All the orders I have are packaged and ready to ship, I will label them tonight and they will be out by morning tomorrow.

I sincerely apologize for the delays, and I hope you all understand the circumstances that come along with the holidays and all the responsibilities when running on skeleton crew at work... :(

The good news, they'll be there very soon, the bad news... they're late... :-[

Woot, good to hear Daedal. I've contacted the Air Force and asked them to stand down the satellite laser system I was going to use on your house, and return it to the anti-ballistic missile defense system. Since I don't know where you live I was going to start randomly blasting houses across the country. You have saved a lot of people a lot of heartache, lol, including those people who have several tons of unpopped pop corn stored inside (if anyone does not get the reference then you are too young.)
