Hi,
http://www.cnilaser.com/green_laser532.htm <-- MLL532 III
It's not a laser pointer, it's a 532nm green laser that used to work fine.
It would do things like burn paper, pop balloons and leave you with a finger gash that makes you think twice about dancing your hand around while wearing some laser safety glasses.
Now, its beam is about as powerful as a two-dollar laser pointer pet toy. The only way it will catch something on fire is if I plug it into a really long extension cord and stand on the hood of a moving vehicle, point it at the driver's eyes, mildly annoying him, causing him to wreck into a telephone pole, killing us both and burning some leaves in a nearby tree some severed power lines happen to land on.
Hopefully, it's something simple.
Have I given enough information for a reasonable guess of the cause?
If so, is it possible to fix this?
