Every night I make sure to return it to the foam case where I KNOW it won't roll anywhere.
Well last night I forgot and it went on the floor 4 feet below and rolled out my room into the hall. I has crashed from a caffeine overdose and I didn't notice it till morning.
results:
NO ARTIFACTS DETECTED ;D
Clickie not workie...sort of
the Laser will not engage pointed straight down, horizontally, or vertically. All other angles are fine, but inconsistent and will fade in or out in between. I shorted the battery to the body using a flat tipped screwdriver and the laser works in all directions. So I know for sure the driver isn't the issue, but shipping the laser internationally for a faulty clickie sounds a bit... I don't know...excessive?
I'm inclined to think the fall somehow dented a contact here or there. I was wondering what is the extent of the warranty against user-caused [not of manufacturer defect] issues?
