originally tried to post to a thread under matainence so if i posted this in the wrong place im just learning the site no bashing allowed lol
im attempting a multiple diode build and having some difficulty
if you put multiple diodes in parallel with a massive driver and one diode goes will it not overload the others?
i have tried the ben boost drivers one set for each diode and the only way
i can get it to work is to give each diode its own battery pack.
they can share a common ground though.
it has like 12 batteries in parallel
yes the diodes work fine parallel but had to shut it down quick because the driver was underrated for this.
any info would be appreciated
Well, it may be capable of driving multiple diodes in parallel. Further, with new diodes coming out all the time, as well as high-powered IRs (which bucks are perfect for), you never know. Always a good idea to leave your options open!
