I've found that the guys on that forum I posted at the beginning are very helpfull. Look at the last pages, the helped me a lot!

I recommend you to post there before atempting to repair it, they are the RC masters lol

oh well, don't think so. I think you must put it into the right position so that the gears will make always contact. I had to fix mine for that reason too xD

Sorry for not having understood you at the beginning. I just learned that "not a big deal" means "not difficult" instead "not a great transaction" lol

So, which DX helicopter (with a gyro) is the smallest? I'm looking for a new (very small) micro-heli. Any suggestions?

Good ol' language barriers :p

I'm not so sure you actually need to take the whole thing apart. I think the top part may come off itself (which would be very convenient :p)

EDIT: Also, how do the gears get out of position? Isn't it all at a fixed point? :undecided:

The smallest one is the 6025-1 which I don't think is on DX?

So tiny!

The smallest one is the 6025, it's on focalprice. But I recommend you the 6020-1 which is the one we have all purchased here. Mainly because there are parts for it available everywhere and very cheap :D

Btw, keep in mind 6020 has no gyro, 6020-1 does.

I understand this is a typo but don't they both have gyros?

Sorry, it's corrected now. both 6020 and 6025 have gyros when there's a "-1" on it. On Focalprice, the 6020 doesn't has gyro, for instance.

@Ash: BUT, Focalprice has free shipping :)

But I'm afraid of getting an underpowered one from Focalprice. LOLz J/K
You make a great point. rc-fever wants to charge $13 for shipping.
Looks like focalprice will be getting my $ for this one. :D

As you are already ordering from focalprice, add this too:

Welcome to focalprice.com | The lowest Price for DS R4 lite,PSP Slim,Genuine Earphone,SONY EX71 EX082?PS2,Macbook Accessories etc.

If you're going to charge it with the Tx, you'll need 6 AA batteries for every 8 charges, so... xD If you're gonna charge it via USB, then forget it.
Wow. That's a lot of batteries.
I don't think the 6025-1 comes with the USB-charging cable, so I will prob. be using the cord from the transmitter to charge it.
I know this one is a little smaller: but, it doesn't look like it flies very well, so there is no way I would get this one.

the smaller you go you get less stability, bigger means better stabilty

EDIT

100th post!!

If you are talking about the size of the 6020-1 as compared to the
6025-1... I can't agree...
My smaller 6025-1 is just as stable as the larger Heli...
Now I'm only talking about these small 3Ch Helies..
