Hi there, I was wondering how hot a 445nm diode or the heat sink should get?
I have the mosquito module from rhd and I'm waiting on my guidesman host to come. I wanna know, how hot should the heat sink get safely before I have to let it cool?
The driver on the mosquito is at 1.7A I believe, DTR did a guidesman build at 1.5A and had a video of the power output over 6 minutes of continuous use, which sounds plenty and didn't seem to wreck his (obviously a bit less for mine because of the higher current).
So I would love to know how hot the heat sink should get before I let it have a cool ? A estimate temperature or "warm to touch" etc. would be great, as I know the rate my diode heats is likely to be differ from DTR's and I'm quite paranoid about wrecking my diode, haha.
(I had a go searching and didn't seem to find anything really specific on the current matter. So sorry if there already is.)
Thanks :thanks:
