The grooves are glow in the dark which grainde does all by hand.

Yep, the host alone is worth at least $80.

since when are grooves $80. I remember only paying $20 shipped for mine not too long ago.

Probably stripping and polishing and if he had a contact board installed. But it still would not be $80 even with glow in the dark.

Sorry I wasn't clear. About $35 for the bare host. About $60 for polishing, stripping, tail cap assembly and GITD rings and $75 to $80 with anodizing.
