Forest Fire Smoke

[Ears and Eggs]

I'm sure pretty much everyone here in Eastern North America has experienced at least some of the forest fire smoke in the last couple weeks. We have several large fires burning in Quebec just a couple hundred kilometers north of where I am in Ottawa. Really terrible to be outside in this, but it has allowed me to get some random beam shots of my lasers without needing to add any fog or anything. Just took these randomly with my phone camera, not even using my DSLR.

Yeah, I'm in Washington State where we haven't had any significant fires since last summer. Currently it is very mild with the highs this week in the 60s and low 70s. It's also raining here which helps control fires. Couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
