I ordered a 5mw astronomy laser from amazon.com
I was playing with it for about 5 minutes pointing it at the sky and in the house ( not near reflective surfaces) After i was done, i noticed my eyes felt slightly weird, just sort of like i was looking at too-bright lights for to long. I never shined it in my eye or anything, so is this normal at all. Am i ruining my eyes without safety glasses? I read on this website that 5mw are ok for no glasses.
My mom, who has sensetive eyes, says just looking at it hurts her eyes (though i know she's exagerating) So, just to make sure, we're not ruining our eyes or anything just by looking at it, are we?
