Sounds like what happened to my first green and it turned out that the solder from the diode to the driver had melted and was only making contact 30% of the time.

nah i had a battery pack of 12 volts and it was too much power it blew the diode and i want to keep it in my signature for memories

The humidity here is what kills us, we're used to 30-40deg celcius nights.


And back on topic. Yes one of the green modules will make it through customs. It's only fully assembled portable lasers that are banned from import.
