I just used my 520nm 5mW pointer from laserBTB on a piece of white paper while wearing my eagle pair OD5 goggles and could clearly see the color, if i point it at something else that isn't white i only see orange, though.
However, i then put them in front of the laser and it still created a much dimmer but still green dot.
I know most people have asked that before when they were wondering, why they could see their green laserdot,
through their goggles that should block axactly that wl, BUT these were mostly high power and not 5mW.
So how is this even possible?
I know i could see the green dot of my 350mW DL hulk ultra but thats alot of power compared to the pointers
5mW..
Any ideas? I really don't wanna risk my sight..
These are the goggles i ordered when i got my 2W 462nm C2 from Grix which im using them for.
Here are 2 pictures i took, sorry for bad quality, dont have another camera atm.
Shining it onto a piece of paper:
The same but through my goggles:
I just can't imagine that this is supposed to happen.
These are 190-540nm & 800-1700nm OD5 goggles after all..
