These were from the same seller as the 488s, "Dora" from "dongguan laser". Maybe I'll have to send some to you again for testing if you are willing.
That`s interesting paul! Would be great if you could send it to someone to test the wl. I am wondering if this is a batch that is close to be mass produced or a "unwanted" wavelength for sharp (but hopefully one interesting wl for us)
Singlemode
You may have forgotten, but I have a spectrometer and measured some diodes you ended up with. I am hoping that Joey will send these new ones to me to test so we will all know the wavelengths of this seemingly new iteration of Sharp diodes.
I really like the idea of a ~480nm laser, that sky blue color is otherwise only obtainable by argon right?
likely a stupid question is there any work being done on ~590nm diodes? because I really want a yellow laser that I can actually afford and is stable.
Not aware of any ~590nm diodes, except maybe some cryogenic diodes, not practical. Definitely not going to be any cheaper than DPSS 589/593.
Too bad you can't heat them to thousands of degrees to shift WL.
