remember you can always turn down your green in lsx. also i forgot who told me this  but your audience will never know your color balance is off only you will. you will get a more bad ass show playing at full power (especially for beam shows)

also you can cube 445 with 473 to make a nice blue :tinfoil: <<<<check out KGBs 5W build he did that

I would've gone for it if it was 300mW or more. I bought my projector prebuilt and I think the 473 is already around 225 to 250mW. It has 6 colors - 3 red, 2 blue (473/445) and 1 green.:shhh::evil:

I'd take it but 150mw is a little to strong too but out when your drunk. I'd like an indoor safe 5-10mw.

So I received my unit today. For some reason, it's generating a line instead of a dot. Also there's a sticker on the front that says 90degrees. The lens appears to be screwed onto the housing. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Cant you just unscrew the lens? Judging by the description of the lasers it seems like that lens is there for a reason. If you cant unscrew the lens from the outside, contact the seller about opening up the head.

Yeah, I unscrewed it and it came right off. I guess I went into a mini panic mode for a second lol. Anyhow, this thing is awesome. Mine peaks around 140mW and I hands down love 473 out of all the colors.

Hmm. Now today, this thing is having trouble getting past 115mW. I guess 473 DPSS is really picky? Either that or I may need to calibrate my LPM...

I hope there's nothing wrong with the unit.

I may need to find someone around my way with an LPM to help me verify this things output real quick.

What LPM do you have?

473s ARE generally unstable by nature - even in comparison to any 532.

When a 532 starts hopping around the power scale, its considered bad.

With 473s, its a bad TEM or TEM hops that is considered bad. Higher power 473s are going to be more unstable than the low power ones. Even if its a DHOM or CNI unit. They might be rated for 5-10% stability, but in my opinion 15% is to be expected.

He reported TEM00 originally and no change in the visibility of the beam. Not sure if that says something...
