I am building a 450nm laser, I dont know what current yet. Last time i checked, the PL450 was the best diode. If no newer/better diode has come out, what current should I power the PL at?

Below 200mA is best,

I have a 190mA setting for this driver which is perfect for the single mode blues :)

Well trust me, these osrams are beautiful at 200mA & it's mainly for the single mode diode not the super power ;)

Your diode will last much longer at 250mA aswell,

IMO its a good choice

Yes one 3.7V power source ;) even 1x16340 if you want :)
