New at AixiZ a good SMD driver for builds of 1 watt 445s and 405 6X

It can drive 1W 445nm laser diode XJ-A140 diode
ALSO can drive 405nm NDV45112 diode and SF-AW512P diode

UPDATE--AixiZ has made a new coating change on the current set of lenses. None of the older versions of the 400-450nm Full Threaded metal case Glass lenses will be sent out,. If you recently got Glass lenses from AixiZ of this type you may contact AixiZ to find out if your order was filled before or after the new AR coated lenses were in stock at AixiZ .

Len I just bought some stuff from AixiZ last night, and I must have missed the driver.:cryyy: I ordered 4 flex drives from bogartman on Ebay for $38ea early this morning. Damn it all!! Let me know how they work please.

and are you sure it fits in a aixiz module? they are pretty big.
ill have to check it myself should have 1 around somewhere

22.44 mm long and 10.72 wide. so apparently you would need to leave off the back half of the AixiZ module.



Inside diameter of aixiz module is 10.5 mm. I stand corrected....again.

what I want to know is how to adjust the current? no pot?

iirc it has some kind of auto detect kinda thingy

o and soldering it directly to the diode pins and leaving the back end of the module off works fine i just put a little blob of epoxy or hotglue between the corners of the driver and the aixiz module head so it wont put to much pressure on the diode pins

hmm im not to sure about that, i dont have much experience with dual build but i do think that it would be possible, just not sure if you would get 1,8+A and not really sure how the drivers react to eachother.

and i gues that it would be a battery-rapist even more so then dual flex/micro since its less efficient but stil really nice for the price

haha i know! i was just kiddin, but seriously, I WANT THE NEW LENSES!!! that would be just abso-f'ing-lutely amazing if it had power increase of the g-1, with the beam characteristics of the 405/445 aixiz glass!
I shall pray for my dream lenses now.

AixiZ tells me that all 405/445 lens orders will be filles with the new version. The driver is available now from wwwAixiZ.com- 13.98 with only 2$ to ship to CONUS from Houston.

I have not had time to use or test these yet. I sent two test driver samples to JakeGT and pontiac. I hope they will be a good match for the GB they are offering us on the new custom host. Thanks guys for doing this for us.

Did Chuck indicate when the new lenses began shipping? I just got 2 405/445 Lenses delivered on Thursday shipped on Tuesday....Maybe I already have 2 of the new ones

Looks Like I have the New style as both are slightly different from My other Lenses. I DO NOT LIKE the way these came to Me!! They were in a static bag without any protective wrap, just rattling around with a 650 lens. All 3 NEED CLEANING before I can use Them.
