Hi, i am a bit confused about the pin out on the A-140 diode. Here is a pin out diagram:
I am making my own driver with this diagram:
I am not using a host i am just connecting it up to a power supply. I have seen that you need to solder the "-" to the case pin, this doesn't seem right for what i am doing. I am just simply doing this:
Do i just wire the LD+ to the Positive of the diode and the LD- to the negative of the diode? Now what do i do with the not used or case pin? Do i solder it to the negative, do i leave it alone?
Thanks
