Perhaps some incentive Gun, you know like prizes and stuff. Maybe a longer timeframe if people want to build something special for the competition. Just a thought

on some motorbike forums ive been on, they had bike of the month where people voted for the best bike each month and the winner went in a hall of fame thread.

On the mario hacking forum I'm also on there's a few contests per year, some of the prizes were getting a special notice in a collab hack, temporary custom title and username color.

Ah good times being active there-- There's some other invisible sub-forums there (such as in the URL bar-- f666 was one), sometimes the admins change random peoples title to "banned", or just have an all out war...

Well it is a good idea. Maybe a forum sponsor could put a prize for a competition. I mean I have seen forum donations ad listing a $10-20 prize each month is not too much to ask. Also the donator (sponsor) might have a chance to put some advertising in the OP.

I didn't even see that! I was writing while you posted that. I was thinking more along the lines of some bose headphones, new lego, etc? Not $10-20 prizes! You have to make it descent!

Maybe a mystery grab bag where people just send in small items like a pot and small prizes for everyone who enters or honorable mentions and runners up, so no one gets too disappointed and there's fun for all. :thinking:
