Just thought I'd bump this and say that the parts are on their way. Photos of the driver would be good if you get the time, so I can start playing around with layout ideas. Also, I suspect there might need to be a case-positive and a case-negative version, for both C-Mount (CP) and 5.6mm/9mm red (CN). Design shouldn't be too different, but again it's something I'll need to consider. What would most people need? I'll post the poll once I've got the parts and played around for a bit.

You can't see pictures because they don't exist yet, you pay to be apart of the GB, they get machined and then sent.

I guess Kenom may have a few 3D models or sketches.

I also am very interested!!! So interested that I accidently messed up the spread sheet,
but I think I fixed it. Sorry Kenom and everyone, I thought we entered our info in the top where the sub-headings were labeled then it would put our names on the list.

I am really sorry if this inconvienced anyone (pretty sure I fixed it), but I am still not even sure if this is still going on...?

Maybe it will get started back up again when Kenom is back on his feet with sure footing?

So, for a Kryton groove, with say...neon blue, like 445nm blue and black, similar to the one in the pic on the other thread (the thread you linked to). Something like that'd be $75? Then I can just press the diode straight in? Are these rckstr compatable?

You'll need to use a flex or a boost. The barrel is designed to use one 18650 battery. A fully charged 18650 is 4.2V. The Rkcstr with a 405nm or a 445nm will need at least 7.5V.

I also prefer 18650 with a boost or SEPIC driver; but if you must use 2 cells, how about 2 x CR123a ? iirc, they're just a bit narrower and half the length of an 18650...

there may be a minor length issue - but I think the CR123a (aka 16340) will fit inside the tailcap a bit, if the spring is cut down a little.

Do you think that by...July 3rd you will still be able to make me one? I'm so backed up as far as things I'm planning/buying/promissing/etc. I won't have any money till July 3rd to buy one, but then I'll have ~$75 to buy a neon blue marbled groove for a 445nm diode

Unless I can get with Jayrob an see if he can do some custom anodizing on a CR2 stainles...if so...

DON'T count me in as buying now or comited though.

AFAIK, Kenom is not actually working on these right now.

More important "life" issues have taken his focus
