Sweet! What mine reeds? And could send me few pics to my email :)
Also when you going to ship the items, aaand need to know extra shipping charges for that UPS we discussed, see also if they have "3 day select".

Thanks!
Vlad
All the results are on the page before this one, you scored pal! I bet with the best batteries, you will be averaging 180 mW!   I will get the UPS going soon, I may be able to mail most by tomorrow, If anyone wants a couple of test repeats done just let me know.

Yes Vlad_13, your laser and Dark_Star's are PGL-A-532 lasers, but you have AA batts, while he asked for the 18650, which, I was quite unsure they would supply, but the came through and output powers were all high save for the red laser.  It clearly is not working properly less than 5 mW??  This unit isn't right at all, but all the other ones are great.

re: CNI GB

I'm more than happy with my choice, the price is just right, anything above that is too expensive for the "toy" like this. At least for me...

I'm a happy camper! :D

They are Here!  Testing is underway!  so far, PBD, you have a Blue to die for, 10- 14 mW!  and the yellow is very nice too, 3-4 mW peak on my meter!   Back to more testing...
It's all good news except for poor Schrecken_Licht  who will need to RMA the 635 nm doing a 1-3 mW
(On my Kenometer) Results:
Vlad_13  100 mW  155 - 208 mW   (uses 2x AA batteries )
Dark_Star 200 mW  245 - 275 mW    (Uses a 18650 battery)
[highlight]ohada  500 mW  535 - 712 mW     (uses 2X "C" batteries)[/highlight]
Pullbangdead  yellow pen 3-4 mW    (uses 2x AAA batteries )
Pullbangdead  Blue pen  10-14 mW  (CR2 battery , I tested w/ rechargeable CR2)
scopeguy20    yellow pen 3-4 mW    (uses 2x AAA batteries )
scopeguy20    200 mW  240- 290 mW    (uses 2x "C" batteries)
Rangedunits  1 key one locking tail cap for pen and 1 button  (none tested)
Sorry Schrecken_Licht!  I will contact CNI right away to get RMA  And so far there were no other costs or problems.

Wow! What a beast!  [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
It's strange though that it uses 2x "C" batteries, I was expecting the PGL-III-C to use 1xLi-Ion 18650 battery, according to CNI link:
http://www.cnilaser.com/PDF/PGL-III_-C_-532.pdf
I just hope it's delivered ok to my home and doesn't die on me after 10 minutes...
I plan to post a detailed review on it soon,

I'm glad to see everyone else got such great products (except Schrecken_Licht...  :'()
Great job by CNI,  [smiley=thumbup.gif]

And Glen -  [smiley=dankk2.gif] A LOT!!!

If you make another CNI GB in the future, I have my eyes on the Red 120mw/Green 120mw combined portable, giving 120mw of yellow...

re: CNI GB

This is why CNI is awesome.

Everyone always says "DONT BUY DIRECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER!! Buy from the distributors so you're guaranteed a good output!!!"

You end up paying twice as much for a laser which might actually be LESS powerful. For example, Lets say you are shopping for a 200mW laser. The distributor buys a 200mW laser and it tests like 280mW, he can then sell it as a 275 for more cash. Distributor buys a 150mW laser, it does 220mW and he sells it as a 200mW.

I'm not saying ALL the distributors do this, but I know a few (VERY reputable dealers) that definitely do. Not that there's anything really wrong with it, as long as they can back up the power claims, but why pay twice as much when you can get the same thing and more for much cheaper.

In my experience, every laser I've seen directly from CNI or Viasho has been WELL over it's rated power. There was ONE which wasn't (shipping damage) and it was promptly replaced.

Glad you guys got some good units at good prices!!

re: CNI GB

Hopefully they'll send me something that works this time... I would have to get the dud in the shipment - would be nice if they are awesome enough to expedite shipment of the replacement laser. I was so hoping to have my laser in a few days... :'(

Of course, this delay is nothing compared to how long I waited to get my blue labby - I waited almost a year for that one!

re: CNI GB

That really sucks about your laser schrecken light; hopefully they can expedite it at least a little.

And this next part is not trying to rub it in, I promise, so just ignore it.

-----------------------------------

Scopeguy, did you get the lasers out yesterday or today? (Or are you still playing with them? I know, I know, it's so tempting, I understand ;D). Not trying to rush you, do it whenever you have extra time, I just need to know if I should be looking for it today or tomorrow, since it should only be a day from you to me, even with just regular 1st class.

Thanks!

re: CNI GB

Got the same question as above and also how much extra do you need for UPS Ground, preferable 3 Day Select. Email me or post it here so i can transfer you the needed $$

Thanks! :)

re: CNI GB

Woot! Got'em, and this 593.5 is AWESOME!

Now, my only problem is that I'm an idiot. All this time waiting, the lasers finally get here, and I don't even have a battery for the 473, not a single CR2 battery in the whole house. I coulda sworn I had a CR2 set aside, but turns out it was a CR123 that I was thinking of in that drawer; I feel so dumb. Such an awesome laser, and I can't even turn the thing on 'cause I got no battery for it. But it's ok, batteries are like Doritos, they make more every day, I'll just have to pick one up tonight.

I'll report back when I have both lasers all powered up, should be awesome.

re: CNI GB

Glen, sorry for being pain in the ass but i need to know if my item was shipped or not, if it was i would need that tracking number so i can be home for the delivery. It will be a bitch if the thing will get stolen or lost like some packages delivered by USPS, but i hope you did use UPS like i requested :) Still i need the tracking number so i know when it will be delivered, lot's of things can happened, it will be problematic if the driver decides to drop off the package... then for sure it will get stolen...

PM sent Vlad_13, don't worry, but so far tracking isn't showing on UPS web.

All the lasers and parts were sent out, now I am just playing with my own lasers! LOL!

Edit: Just spoke with UPS and all of their tracking numbers are 18 digit code, looks like you are missing few, please check the receipt, it should start like this:

Please PM me back.

Thanks,
Vlad.
