Hello,

I've browsed this forum in the past but have finally set aside a little bit of money to get into the hobby. The number one thing to take care of first though is safety.

I need to wear prescription glasses to see. It isn't like I'd walk into walls or anything but it is bad enough that I am impaired without them and haven't been able to drive without them my entire life. Contacts don't work well with my eyes either.

So, I'm looking for recommendations for safety glasses that would fit over a pair of prescription glasses and still give a good level of protection from all angles. My glasses are fairly low profile. Easily fit into something like this

I'd prefer to have safety glasses rather than full monogoggles, but good pairs of monogoggles are an option to if that is the route I need to go.

Thanks

EDIT: I'm in Canada

Please update your profile to include your location or at least what country your in or not many will answer questions like this.

I have the same problem. Many people use these:
Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Slip Over Laser Safety Goggles

or these even though they aren't officially laser safety glasses:

For info on the testing of these glasses see this thread:

I have also found that these will fit under my glasses but I am sure that wont work for everyone:
HDE® Laser Eye Protection Safety Glasses Goggles for Green Blue Lasers W/ Free Hard Case - Silk N Flash Go - Amazon.com
For info on the testing of these glasses see this thread:

I got this pair from JetLasers with my PL-E pro that work good over my glasses. Their not the most comfortable, but they work with glasses.
