These have been shown, but there are a couple of ways to make it work. This is how to set it up with a FlexDrive and the batteries 'case negative"...
Some tips on this build are as follows:
* After trimming the FlexDrive, an easy way to make sure the driver does not short out on the Leadlight case, is to just use a thin piece of electrical tape along the edges of the driver.
* The white lead is positive (from the switch). So the negative from the driver, must connect to both the diode negative, as well as the diode case pin. (two pins soldered together to the negative lead from the driver)
* I found that just a couple of small 'blobs' of solder on the side of the AixiZ module is perfect. You can use a small file to get the right fit for a nice pressed fit to get good ground.
I built this to sell! Lol! But it turned out so nice, that I can't bring myself to let it go! I decided not to post this in the 'Buy, Sell, Trade' section, but since I had already taken pictures and everything, I figured I would go ahead and show it here...
I have my Meredith glass Leadlight blu-ray at 132mW's. The diode in this build must be a little 'bluer'. It is visually brighter at 125mW's than my Meredith Leadlight. Plus, getting 125mW's at only 134mA's with an AixiZ acrylic! That's a HOTTER than normal diode!
