EDIT: At 1st I did the thread all about me:scowl: but I would like Everyone to post there BEST Laser Shots. Just Your BEST crisp laser shots that you really like "That You Have Personally Taken". !!!!! So what lasers did you use? And how did you set up the camera shots? Thanks Everyone, I looked and didn't see a thread like this I'm sorry if I'm doing a repeat =(

I was messing around with my
(650 nm 215 mW) "FlightLevel350" built a
(532 nm 125 mW) "O-like" a
(445 nm 200 mW) has a 18650 instead of the 2 CR123's "Yobresal" built and
(405 nm 560 mW) "Glutton" built.
Thought you might like to see as well.

ALL the Night Shots are 15 second Exposure (In the Night Shots Only the 445 is running at 1.2W)

15 second Exposure for the fish tank shot... Poor Poor Fish...
IMG_1164.jpg

EDIT: ADDED: This shot is a regular shot, Because there bouncing around, Its way to bright in a 15 second exposure. And in just this 1 picture the 445nm is running at 1.2W I was trying to get it to stand out better from the 405 nm in this shot. When Put through Water it Really Changes the 405 nm a Lot...
IMG_1181.jpg

All the rest down to the end are Regular shots, I used the 18650 in Yobresal's for lower power so all the colors could be seen better. I got some incense going for a Very Light Haze :scowl:eek:n these pictures Because I couldn't get a nice shot because the 445 and 532 are Flooding the area with light and you could not see the 405 nm or the 650 nm :scowl:..... Bah!!!!!.... Hope you like them tho.

I added another fish tank shot for you, it's to bright in 15 sec... I'm really glad you guys like them. Makes me want to go on top of the mountain near me and take some "lasers over the city" shots at night long expo.....

this ones are great! i also cant wait for my diffraction gratings to get here so i can take a few shots for the multimedia section also!

i was also wondering how the corals and the walls got those "coloured shadows"! it looks so nice!

(maybe with 3D glasses, old school style (the blue and red ones) we see everything in 3D!! just kidding, course not! :p)

Thank you very much, I'll be looking for your pics.
No... On those shots if you look at the 1st of them has a super bright spot in the mirror to the left of farme. Well I had a granite Tile there set up so that on the back non-polished side the lasers are all pointed at. And so that made light shadows on everything because it was really close just to the left out of the frame. And then for the shot where they all point to 1 spot I moved the tile and repositioned the lasers to hit the black stone. Glad you liked them

Re: Some Pictures

the pic where u also say
I'm loving the colors on the walls
all those shadows of the big coral and the coral itself on the 3rd pic after that one is just amazing!!

Do u see that in person or is it just a camera thing?? Is it because of backscatering at the granite??

it's just the effect of the different color lasers hitting at different spots reflecting light off the solid surface of the garnet. Yeah you see it in person. :D

Re: Some Pictures

I noticed the same funny effect the other night, the bathroom was lit by an incandescent lightbulb
and my 445nm (through scattered reflection off the white ceiling). The mixture of
different colored light sources made yellow shadows where the laser's light was blocked,
but not the lightbulb's.;)

I love it how "diffuse" laser light gives such incredibly sharply defined shadows.

Re: Some Pictures

That, and the coherence of the laser light.
Ordinary, non-laser light sources always make shadows more blurred at the edge.

Thank you sir. I was able to take some 15 second exposure shots Last Night that i added to the top of OP. I also decided to change the OP thread name so that others can show there laser pics off as well and we can still talk about em. In the next month or so when I'm not hurting as much and after I get some tripods. I'm going to go up to get some mountain top shots going over the city... will be very nice...:D

I used to take pictures of my lasers all the time. However since my camera was such a pile of crap, not many of the pictures turned out very good. I've since invested in a new camera with a CMOS sensor specifically for taking low light laser pictures and now that I have the new camera, haven't had much opportunity to take any pictures. I'll post a few of the more spectacular.
