Ok guys i just got a 5mw green laserglow lyra and i was playing around with it and having fun. I put frst batteries in it and i can see the beam a little. Anyways i just had a question. When i was playing around with it i notice when i would aim the dot at the wall when i was close to the wall there was fuzz and little lines around the dot. Is this normal? I was just wondering. The picture will show it. Also in the picture if you look closely you can see above the green dot there is a smaller green dot that only my camera can picl up. Is this ir leaking? If you could please answer all these questions that would be great. Thankyou so much,

You need to upload a picture.
You most likely have dirt on the lens

Here is the picture. The little green dot is above the main dot. Is this IR leakage?

If the small dot was IR it would be purple(to a camera). The fuzzy green dot looks normal. Do you have safety glasses? Try looking at the dot with them and you will see the true dot.

q-tips can scratch the lens. be very gentle with them. Its made my problem worse so thats a good question.

I would recommend soft cloth for cleaning glasses.
They probably do the least damage to the lens...
