Here:

1300mW 532nm Handhled Adjust Focusing Green Laser Pointer Pen (1 x 26650 Battery), Europe - DinoDirect.com

I know that many cheap chinese sites as DH Gate, Taobao, Focalprice, Dealextreme... claim unrealistic high outputs 1000mW, 2000mW... 10000mW (Taobao). But Dinodirect normally doesn´t do this.

So, it is a joke? Price seems right for that output.

or

Do we have new high powered green handhelds coming? I know of 1.1W CNI 532nm handhelds.

The unit isn´t released yet, but guess I have to talk to some Dinodirect staff people...

Hmmm... it isn't just a typo, they really are representing this as a 1.3W green...

They deliberately post a highlighted blurb... beginning with "What you are viewing is the elite..."

It doesn't SEEM like a "blatant rip-off"; I have no experience with DinoDirect, I know from the forum here that they sell over/under spec lasers, but I've never read of a BLATANT rip-off from them...

(Ugh...) Scroll down and look at the pictures. Yes, let's sabotage a soccer game, and while we are at it, let's shoot a football player in the head. (??) (WHY would they post that??)

This green beam laser pointer pen is perfect for astronomy, presentation, tutorial, and office meeting use but still, you can use this green beam laser pointer pen as a special toy that will present you wonder and beauty.

Office use... yes... since my boss didn't give me that raise, I will aim a 1.3W green laser at him...

(I don't particularly care for the video they play when you go to the page, either).

The descriptions are their standard, someone has to work over them. They are very unprofessional.

But that laser I linked, can´t get it out of my head...

Afaik Dino has a Laserpowermeter they can use.

Sent this thread to member "Mic", she is working for Dinodirect and may be able to figur out what´s going on with this laser.

1300mW of a 532nm handheld laser? I'm sorry but I don't believe it.

IMHO I would not risk to spend that much money to find out if it is true.

I only believe it if them, sent one to make a review from a reputed member of this forum, and this member confirms this power formally.

Would it be surprising if it actually outputted MAX 300 mW?

Honestly? Yes, I GUESS it´s much more than 300mW.

I would love to get this for a review. I would also pay backshipping.

>1.1W 532nm handhelds are existing, so why not 1.3W in the (near) future?

Let´s stop to speculate and wait for a Dino staff member to clarify this a bit.

No one here is going to amble purchasing this as a pig in a poke.

Now that I think about it, its 1411.15 euros. Do you think they can be serious? Would you risk that much money ? I mean, look at their X doctor video at the bottom of their page. Seriously...

I wouldn't buy it, those pictures are very deceiving. Its dimensions are "Size: 35 x 25 x 21cm/14*x 9.8 x 8.3in(L x W x H)" and also look at the picture measuring it's size.

How do you make such a mistake and write it down multiple times even in another unit?

just look at that line in the description:

"Ultra safe, low power design, perfect for everyday use "

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D it is actually low power :D:D I don't know .. maybe it's the April fool's day joke ... but they decided to be Full year's joke :D

I give a f~~~ on the reviews and the description.

Fact is that I weren´t dissapointed with the power of the Dinodirect lasers I bought during the last months (about 20)

Got this picture from Mic, she requested it from Dinodirect´s product specialist:

At least there is a green reflection visible, but I aksed for more info, better pictures, and a LPM vid.

Yeah i'd want to see a pic with the laser backed off the sensor, and also shining through an IR filter.

Nothing like blinding the kicker to beat the spread.:wtf:

1300mW green ? ..... if i recall correctly, in the better efficence case (and i mean the BETTER one), it must be drived from a 5.5W of IR ..... that can become easily 6.5W, for standard efficence crystals sets ..... hmmmmm  .....

EDIT: also, i just noticed this ..... 25cm diameter ? ..... ROTFLMAO :p

Don't get your hopes up guys. Dino direct is not using a LPM, unless they send out underspec units on purpose. My 80mW firedragon "certified power gauranteed" was a whopping 20mW.

I
Would put $ down guessing that they don't have an LPM and that they do not stock a 1300mW 532.

Also Dino direct lied to me saying they tested my lasers power before it was sent out, so I asked, did they send me a laser 1/4 of the advertised power on purpose?
