I am interested in starting out with lasers by purchasing this laser

DealExtreme: $10.50 True Green Laser Pen 5mW

so does anyone know if they will ship to the u.s. it is unclear on the website

is a 5mW so yes.if is above 5mW the won't.

Yes, DX does ship that laser to the US. I've personally ordered over 10 of those and they got here just fine to me in the US.

What?

They are lasers, they shine a point of light? Could you be more specific?

To the OP, you can get the same lasers cheaper on e-bay if you look around a little.
