I've seen a few threads that mention this laser but have yet to hear anyone say they bought it.

So whats the verdict guys does someone own this one?
Have you tested it to see if its truly 200mw?

I know O-like is trusted around here but that price seems a little 2 good so I'd like to hear from someone thats tested it at home.

Thanks in advance

O-like is very trusted, but email her to have an honest review. The fact that it's manufctured by Toplasers keep me away from it (this is the same factory that makes these 200mW green laser for 50$ on kaidomain that turned to be a 50mW laser xD)

If you do e-mail her for an honest review, please post the answer here, as I, too, am curious about it.

I guessing that your talking about Susie that I keep reading about. Does she have an email here at the forum or should I just email O-like and she will get it?

Thanks

Email sent. I'll share whatever info Susie has for me.

Thank you

I posted a chat with susie asking about this laser in the original thread. I even asked the same question you ask in this thread in the original post last week.

Thank you Boosted, I must have missed it. :)

I just got my reply from Susie and she said they test every Laser b4 it leaves now and that these are rated 170-200mw and will be doing that. They come with 2 batteries(an 18650 and a 16340) and if you want a charger they are $5.00 each.

All in all not a bad sounding deal. Even at 170mw, for that kind of money I don't think you can get that kind of power cheaper unless you DIY.

Do you guys know of any for less?

Thank you Hall,

That looks to be a nice laser but as of late there seem to be more and more negative reviews of the Rayfoss products(ie: Underpowered/Mode Hopping) and that makes me more than a little nervous.

Does Rayfoss even sell to the US? I know from reading that O-like seems to have no issues getting things to us here in the states.

Neither rayfoss does. The underpowered units are mostly the modules, I've not tested this unit with a meter but trust me that judging on my experience it must be on the 200mW near range.

Also, faona told me a thousand times that this unit was going to mode hope if I didn't respect the 1 minute duty cycle. I've been using it for a while and not a single problem so far.

Yours,
Albert

They are both nice lasers, but personally I would go with the one from O-like, only because I have experience with them and know she's got great customer support.

Also I prefer the more rugged torch style, and the idea of changing the battery compartment seems kinda useless so I'd just leave at one size. But at 170mW's who can complain? :)

I wonder if the use of the word "focusable" here means that you can focus in AND out. I.e. create a pinpoint for close range burning or focus out to create a cone of light. Any guesses? I've emailed Susie, but I think China is on some week long holiday.
