Well I guess we could add that video as a 40th
reason....

39 Reasons NOT to Buy From Wicked Lasers

I'm convinced that metering the two Lasers would show that
the WL Laser was still underspec...

Nice to see that you were wearing Laser Safety eye protection.

That being said....

Does the Polaris use any kind of correction optics?

I can't believe how poorly the arctic performed... would be awesome to meter the two lasers.

Lasers need to be LPM'd! Dying to know what the WL really outputs. They must use a very interesting calibration on their meters:whistle:

Yup, Wicked Lasers is a pioneer of a new LPM technology, soon to be revealed to the public at large.

It's called the Wicked Lasers Eyeometer.

A WL trailed technician uses a Mark 1.0 Eyeball and times how long it takes him to stop being able to perceive any color, after pointing the laser directly at the aperture of the Mark 1.0 Eyeball.

Nope, the Polaris models beyond 400mw don't have corrective optics, so its a bar shaped dot.

OMG!1 The Mac1eyeophairhead. That was simply.... hilariousness.

Wicked Laser just plain sucks. No contest.

"Wicked laser claimed they fixed their business"
Fixed? They cant even back their claims of having the world's most powerful handheld lasers. Fail.

I have LPMed 9-10 WL lasers to date. One of them was actually overspec by ~100mW although a bit unstable. The rest are all over the place, usually way, way, below what they were sold as.

Hooray for us! Thanks for posting this awesome video, Nicholas. The production values were significantly better than most laser videos that I've seen and, most importantly, our laser kicked ass. We greatly appreciate the time and energy you spent putting this together.

It's nice to see an actual real-time video demonstration :pop: of just who pwns who :fightin: in laserland.

Thanks!
