BUY LPF!!! BUY LPF!!! BUY LPF!!!

Some of us were talking recently about where to get parts and Pman mentioned that it would be nice if there was someplace where all this info was available in one place. I volunteered to gather all the info into one thread and he said it sounded good :) so this thread is going to be a reference of all the LPF vendors. BE it Hosts, Diodes, Drivers, or whatever, buying from members here will help support your fellow Laserists. And at the end of the day, it is the new ideas and innovations from your fellow forum members that will revolutionize our hobby. Diode vendors cannot search for the latest and greatest diode if they have been run out of business due to outsourcing. The new tools that would allow the LPF machinist to improve on past designs and create an amazing new laser host would never be purchased because he wouldn't have the money and there is no business.

So in short, buying from LPF-based vendors is how we keep this hobby churning with fresh, new ideas and products.

If you are one of the host/heatsink vendors and you would like a different photo listed for your listing, please shoot me a PM with the image location so i can link it.

I would like to really push all of you to purchase from the aforementioned vendors. We all spend quite a bit on lasers, how about we keep it "in the family" to encourage innovation. Only then can our hobby continue growth.

Thanks,
Isaac

If I may, I primarily produce heatsinks, and then hosts.

Host orders do not amount not even for 10% of my business, if even that.

VERY nice compilation, dude. I'll put this in my signature.

might want to update your LPM section. ARG sells Delta meters now (not sure if he is bringing back his ARGMeter line since Trevor and ARG teamed up for the Delta series with the Rubicon being the first release

Nice review and ill add it to my Sticky Guide :D

EDIT: need to contact Mrcrouse and see if he still offers that SRK heat sink! tri-diode in that would be

I'm getting into the complete lasers scene. I don't have a run of a certain kind, I just build whatever the customer wants. Keeps me open to whatever. I enjoy it, also keeps the hands busy, and allows me to build something when I don't have something to build for myself. So feel free to add me to that portion of the list :)

ALSO, more importantly, AWESOME LIST! +1 man, this is definitely nice to have. I even learned a few things, plus it's nice to know who's doing what when we're losing our 2 major website resources.

Thank you all for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

  • Jayrob, I have changed the link in your listing to your Build Kits thread as per your request.
  • Mike from Zerolasers has been added. Check out his store, he sells the Skyray Host Kits. A picture of this host kit has been added to his listing.
  • Garoq, I had meant to go a little more in depth on your store in another category that ended up not existing. I have expanded on your listing to include additional relevant information.
  • Updated the LPM section to reflect ARG and Trevor's new LPM.
  • Filled in some missing links which I had not realized I forgot and fixed soem formatting problems.
  • Bloompyle, I have added you in under the "Completed Lasers" section.

Please notify me if any changes still need to be made. As always, thanks for looking guys!

Thanks,
Isaac

I have made the following changes to the OP:

  • Altered Blord's listing to show that he does many different completed builds.
  • Added Laser66 to the Diode section.
  • Added Wolfman29 to the Driver section.
  • Added Lazeerer to the Driver section.

That is all for now, thanks again everybody!

I would , but it just seem rather an... odd experience to make a custom purchase without a website that'll list out all the specs and the options.
Pretty much like making a laser by yourself, but this time . Someone else is doing the building and you are doing the playing.
