Absolutely! :)

I have used the software already, and it is great! The same controller is used on battle bots. (which have dangerous and large weapons)
This thing could be potentially very dangerous, thats why I built the keypad circuit the way I built it. When power drops out, it cant re-activate when power is restored until the pin code is re-entered. The on-board computer does not have the ability to re-arm the laser. I originally built it this way because of the possibility of RF messing with the computer, and this is also the main reason I have decided to go with the diode laser instead of the CO2. The CO2 would be awesome though, and produces a better beam than the diode.

Sorta reminds me of the face job scene in "Logan's Run"...

I don't think the switch is the problem. I tried shorting across it with a screwdriver and burned my screwdriver tip
I built a 0.25 Ohm battery test load and I'm looking for that bastard cell.
I'll find it.........

My laser has been held up in customs for over a week. However, Chris was nice enough to send another. Hopefully it will arrive soon.

When did Arizona start customs inspections on interstate shipments?
This looks strange to me.

It's actually in Wisconsin still. He said they called him and said he needed to fill out forms, resend etc...
I have tracking numbers for both lasers:

NightStick --

I think I have the 7.5" FL lenses coming. Only two of them.

The - FL lenses may need some arguments. I'm trying for a small GB from them.

Is anyone interested in a ZnSe lens ------ 0.6" Dia and -1.0" FL ??
It might help get them cheaper. This will help make a beam expander for a CO2.

I might be interested if when my laser arrives. The lasers have a decent range without a lens right?

I need YES ABSOLUTELY commitments.  Maybe if you know I can find the funds etc etc doesn't cut it for me.  I understand the shortage of $$$ but I'm shooting for $70 to $90 for these.

This isn't a GB yet but I will need committed buyers for this. I don't know if I can negotiate with them but there is power in numbers.

That's OK -- It's late here and I plan to try for a good price tomorrow PM. A person running a GB needs a firm stage to present his demands ;D

Hope you enjoy the CO2 -- they are super.......... Please be careful where you point it.
