This is the same title as this old thread regarding the purchase of high powered 365nm LEDs.
In the old thread, Krutz refers to wanting to buy some high powered 365nm LEDs, preferably Nichia brand, but not too specific. High-powered, in the context of that thread was from 300mW to 950mW in power.
Well, after some research, 4 months later, I was looking at Mouser's inventory, and they have some 5-10W (~130mW - 1W UV output, depending on binning) 365nm LEDs by a company called LEDEngin. What more, these LEDs are at extremely reasonable prices (~$50 for 5W, ~$100 for 10W). These would be mounted, or already are, on LED-stars for heatsinking. A group buy of these would probably not save much money except in huge quantities.
I am thinking I may order one of these to see to see how they are. Does anyone see any flaws in this or alternative sources or products for purchase?
