I have made two Police lasers. The lasers have a side-clicky button. Very convenient for those who dis-like the switch on the back. It has instead a compass on the tailcap but the working is so-so. I wouldn't rely on it if you are going for a trip in the jungle. 
It has also a build-in charger for the 18650 cell but it can't charge two 18350 at the same time.
The specs are M140 diode with a buck driver at 1.7A. The driver is heatsinked. It needs two 18350 batteries to operate. The lens is 3-element AR coated glass lens with a custom made focus ring.
Using one 18650 cell is possible. The output will be around 80mW. Enough for signalling, pointing or so.
Runtime with two 18350 cells is 1min on/off and with one 18650 the runtime is unlimited.
I am asking $150 for the laser.

18350 batteries/chargers and laser goggles are available at extra cost.
