Progress has been coming along great with my soon to be offered laser kit. Up for sale I have the first two prototypes.
These lasers are sweet. My custom driver hasn't been finished being made yet, so I used flex drives for these. Both of them have flex drives heatsinked to the pill
They run off of 1 18650 (included).
Here is what you get
Then inside the box...
These awesome lasers come with two chargers that plug directly into the wall, or can be charged from the 12v power source in your car! They even have an led on the charger to let you know how much charge is in your batteries!
Note that the LED on the charger is green, this shows that the battery is fully charged. When the battery is dead the LED is red, and when its in between, its and orange colour!
Here is beam shots of both of these lasers
Now, because these are only prototypes, they both do have a couple downfalls.
Prototype V1: SOLD!
Everything is included with this laser, and the only downfall is that it is only 750mW. The plus side to that, its the most stable 445 I've ever seen!
Prototype V2:
Everything is included with this laser, and the only downfall is that the beam does not come out straight. It's hardly noticeable, but it's there. I drilled the hole in the heatsink too big, and had to compensate with extra thermal adhesive.
Asking price is $125 each, shipped within the US.
If all goes to plan, you could be the owner of the first laser of a long legacy I hope to offer.
Thanks all for looking. Please leave any feedback.
