I have Mohgasm drivers for sale. These are LM117 linear drivers. It needs two 3.7V batteries to operate. I have both the square and the 17mm round version. The drivers have a limited current options. A combination of two resistors is possible for more fine tuning of the current, example a driver with 3.3Ohm and 12.1Ohm resistor gives 482mA.

2.2Ohm (Adds 568mA)
1.0Ohm (Adds 1.25A)
3.3Ohm (Adds 378mA)
24.3Ohm (Adds 51mA)
12.1Ohm (Adds 103mA)

The current can also set at 1.6A or 1.8A. These drivers use the 1085 regulators.

The price is $6 each, five for $25 and ten for $45.
The 1.6A and 1.8A version cost $9.
Shipping cost worldwide is $5. Add $6 for registered shipping.

That is right. The components are already soldered. You can add the set resistor yourself or I can do it for you. The resistors are big smd parts so handsoldering is no problem.

Would it be okay to power a 2w m140 diode If I use your 1.25 a driver with a 500ma driver?

HI Blord just curious are you selling the boards and 2 resistors for us to solder on separately? Ie we can effectively choose any current combination of any 2 resistors? Or do you already have 1 resistor in place on the board and supply a second one for us to add to modify the current?
Bit confused cos I recommended that Newb contact you about a 1.8 A driver and was under the impression he'd need a board and 1 x 1.0 and 1 x 2.2 Ohm resistors....:thinking:

These are the boards for sale. The resistors are provided with the sale. You need to add one or two smd resistor to the board to set the current.
I shall update the OP.

I have only one 1.8 jib driver that I don't use.

Ok thanks that's what I thought! :beer:

Edit: I think it was your comment " These drivers will work at the max 1.25A." That was probably causing the confusion! I guess you were saying if you parallel the drivers ie a 1.25 A and a 500 mA it will run at 1.25 A max. Not we can only buy drivers from you at 1.25 A max! ;)

Wait, so if I buy the 1.8a driver I can't just attach both to the diode? I have to solder on some resistors first?

I can solder the resistor for you but you need to solder the diode to the driver anyway. A soldering iron is mandatory for laser builds.

I know but I'm not good at soldering, especially when its close to anything else. I could handle the 4 connections since they're pretty spread out but i ruined my last driver by trying to solder. If I bought the 1.8a could you solder on the resistor for free then? That would be really helpful.

edit: I'm really new to actually Building lasers, I have only made one other simple laser in an altoids tin. I read that most people blow their diodes on theirfirst build so i'm trying to be extra careful.

The 1.8 jib driver is already complete and set at 1.8A. You only need to solder the 4 wires and heatsink the driver.
