I have made two Police lasers. The lasers have a side-clicky button. Very convenient for those who dis-like the switch on the back. It has instead a compass on the tailcap but the working is so-so. I wouldn't rely on it if you are going for a trip in the jungle. :)
It has also a build-in charger for the 18650 cell but it can't charge two 18350 at the same time.

The specs are M140 diode with a buck driver at 1.7A. The driver is heatsinked. It needs two 18350 batteries to operate. The lens is 3-element AR coated glass lens with a custom made focus ring.
Using one 18650 cell is possible. The output will be around 80mW. Enough for signalling, pointing or so.

Runtime with two 18350 cells is 1min on/off and with one 18650 the runtime is unlimited.

I am asking $150 for the laser.

Joe knows that I have this host going for sale some time ago. Eudamonium has made the heatsinks and that was before Joe's thread.
It is just a coincidence that this host shows up. I didn't know that Joe was in the market too. :beer:

I have only two Police lasers for sale and I won't sell it after that.
Don't worry I have a lot of other hosts going in the pipeline. Known and unknown hosts. :D

looks nice but shouldnt an m140 at 1.7a output a little more than 1.3w? or am I missing something o.o

By the way, you can get a 8.4v charger pretty cheap on ebay.

You can add a G1/2 lens for 300mW extra. This laser has the 3-element glass lens. On 1.8A you can add another 100mW. And if the diode is efficient then add another 200-300mW.
So 1.8A with 2Watt output seems legit with an efficient diode but this diode is just standard M140 :)

The first person to use this host was Mohrenberg. I bought it in an auction he did a long time ago. Made my first 12x build out of it, 820mW

The lasers are back on sale. I have replace the diode in both lasers with a better one. They have now an output of 1.5 Watt instead the previous 1.3 Watt !
Everything stays the same.

For $135 the laser is a steal !! The host is much beefier than the C6 host.
