Hey guys, I'm heading off to college tomorrow and am going to take a small break from this (a week or two) while I get settled in. I haven't restocked and only have maybe 5 of them left...

Haha, was just wondering if you had any left... Might purchase 2 when you get more though.

One question: What kind of batteries do they take? From the look of a review posted early on, I'd say AAAs, but how many?

they take 2 AAA

Are you going to reply to my PM and deal with USPS before you head off? I even paid for expedited shipping, and still haven't recieved it......

Hey sorry about that.

I contacted USPS and they basically said theres nothing they can do about it. They'll "look into it" but I've gotten that response on previous occasions and they ended up saying they don't know what happened but the laser arrived like a month later X(

I did get the expedited shipping and sent it out they just haven't updated the status or anything... If it still hasn't arrived in a week or so I'll ship you out another one.

I want one real bad if youve still got any... I just moved into college too and I'm already building a 445nm here in the dorm :) but PM me if you can still sell me one surfer!!

One of our members, lasersbee sells really nice, low cost LPMs. For lower output units, the HLPM II 200mW is quite cheap ($55), for higher output there is the Laserbee I and Laserbee II. I have the Laserbee II and love it, was a great investment.

There are a couple other members that sell LPMs that I've heard really good things about, but I don't have experience with them personally.

There is also this option that it seems some people are having good luck with (tricky part though is calibrating it, as you have have a laser with a stable and known output to get it right):

Hi swimmin, I sent payment for one with priority shipping to the UK, you do still have these left don't you? If not could you issue me a refund ASAP :) It came too 12.50+14 = 26.50$
