Some people have been saying that the C6 host is getting boring and stale, so we decided to do something about it. I am pleased to introduce a brand new product to the laser community, the SL-SS2LHA stainless steel host assembly. :D

This is a NEW exclusive custom design, NOT a C6, and not an SH-032, although it does share some features with both.

It is slightly smaller in diameter than a C6, and slightly longer. There is no knurling, but the entire surface is a beautiful brushed stainless steel that must simply be seen (and held) in person to be fully appreciated.

The bezel/retaining ring is shorter and male threaded as opposed to the C6 retaining ring being female threaded. The custom extended and tapered copper heat sink is massive and weighs 58 grams (over 2 oz).

The 'sink is designed to take up all the room in the heat sink holder and contacts the driver pill for better heat sinking to the host battery holder (especially when using Ceramique 2 thermal compound).

We are also offering a logo-marked version of this host as an option with the SL-1.4, SL-II and SL-IISE parts bundles, and the weight of the finished build with batteries is over 8.3 oz.

The SL-SS2LHA host assembly includes the laser body (retaining ring, heat sink holder, battery holder and tail cap with "clicky" switch and wrist strap), driver pill, brass ring, the new extended and tapered copper heat sink with set screw and a 0.050" Allen wrench. The clicky switch cover is green GITD silicone.

Though longer, a finished laser fitted with our extended focusing ring and a lens cap will still fit comfortably in the Survival Laser holster.

The driver pill and tailcap are interchangeable with the C6. As a result, the Survival Laser pressure pad switch and the battery extension tube will work with this host, though that would result in some interesting color combinations. :)

The new SL-SS2LHA laser host assembly is available NOW from the Survival Laser store for $42.29 LPF price plus $3 US shipping (be sure to use the "LPF445" discount code during checkout). I have plenty in stock and can ship immediately.

Thanks for looking! ;)

These Are so Freaking Nice at a ridiculous low price for a custom stainless steel Host.

That heatsink looks Way bigger then the standard Ones. Mind taking a picture to show the difference.! The standard ones iam talking about are the one you have in anodized size.!

@Garoq - Do you plan to sell a battery extension tube for this host? Does it fit the old one? Sorry if you wrote about it, the pictures distracted me too much:p

Either way, I LOVE IT. Now I know where I want the spare ld I have on hand to go:D

Haha, yes the old one will fit. If there is enough demand I will consider having a stainless one made. :)

It actually looks pretty cool with a black tailcap and a black extended focus ring. You can have a lot of fun mixing and matching parts.

Yup, exactly what I was thinking. Also the new heatsink...

Are you planning to offer it in aluminum... to make kind of an all around chrome set?
