GITD Focus Rings "After Glow"

Red - Yellow - Green - Aqua - Blue - Violet - White

Ring Stock: 5

Product description: Standard Aixiz focus rings with a permanent epoxy GITD mix applied to the diffraction grading space. The new generation strontium aluminate glow powder is used in high concentrations for long glow times.

The focus rings will charge up every time you use your laser leaving a nice "after-glow" after every lasing. I'm offering these focus rings in sets of seven containing one of each color. Pricing is $30 shipped in the Cont US, $30+ the difference in shipping out of country. You may also order specific colors and quantities. Pricing will depend on quantity and it will be between $4.00-$4.50 per ring + shipping. I will also accept custom GITD work if you have your own FR or other application. This price will be based on GITD and return shipping if it applies. PM for ordering!

Lead Time: Expect it to take a week from the date of order until it is shipped. In most cases your order will be in the mail in less than a week.

(red, yellow, green, aqua, violet, and white pictured below)

Notes about glow properties:
The GITD rings will charge rapidly for 445nm lasers but will not charge when exposed to green or red light, except for red which will charge under green light. Although the "white" looks blue'ish in the pictures it does look white in person. The violet GITD has almost no reaction to 445nm even at high powers, it will however charge nicely to 405nm. Each glow color has different glow times as noted below.

Green: Very High
Aqua: High
White: Med
Yellow: Med
Blue: Med
Violet: Low
Red: Very Low

Thanks for looking!

That is correct, sold as a set of seven, one of each color. Pricing set since GITD is kinda pricey and they can be a little bit of a pain to make.

It would be $30 - (US shipping) + (International shipping), I don't know the # off the top of my head but since it's such a small package I don't think it's much more at all.

Got my package in today at home, thanks for the pre-order, they look great.

They completed my new build perfectly and I plan to have my completed build thread up later this week, I'll post some pictures with the set in for you.

Thanks again,

J

You have a great product here. You should do well selling these. Especially if you can sell them individually.

When I first saw your thread I thought someone had posted a picture of one of my lasers.
On the cheaper lasers I build, without custom focus adapters, I often apply GITD material to the inside of the lens to achieve the same afterglow/halo effect you have here.

But I don't sell them individually so don't worry we won't be intruding on each others sales or anything.

I wish you the best!

Do these use Zinc sulfide as the glow powder or strontium aluminate.
