Hey guys. I bought one of the artic spyders from WL last year. Recieved it this spring. I used it for a bit, but didn't really like it. Guess I'm not as much of a laser enthusiest as i thought i would be.

Anyway, This thing has maybe 30 total minutes of use on it. Perfect condition, I got the whole shabang. Safety lens, and all the pattern caps. Glasses, cleaning kit. Battery, charger. and all that jazz. All that set me back $375.

As I am not very active on this forum, you can email me at
Few_screwsloose@hotmail.com if you are interested in it.

I'd like to get $300 for all of it. I think it's atleast worth that.

I'll try to post pictures up tomorrow when it's light out.

When you post pics, make sure you have your LPF user name and the date visible in the pictures.

Good luck!

Well it cost me 375. And the other user's laser was probably well used. I'm not dropping the price $200 for 30 minutes of use.

blue bumblebee is not really criticizing, just pointing out fact. A 1W+ laser can be built for under $100. The only great thing about the arctic is the host.

It's not a reflection on you, but a reflection on wicked... they are overpriced.

For a used WL Arctic I would pay up to $150 and that's it. I'm sure the Arctic host is real nice and "cool" looking but it is what is on the inside which is important. That laser isn't even a true 1W. Every power reading I have seen was only <850mW. Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Yeah I know, I didn't take it personally. It's one of those things in life "buying the name". Either way. if someone was going to buy one from WL, i'm saving them about $80 and a 4-8 month waiting period.

ebay will give you better luck because there will be "less informed" buyers out there
in another recent thread, a user also stated (with proof) that he sold his Arctic for ~$400 on ebay
you just have to be careful that your listing doesnt get flagged or anything

But I do take the critisism personally, It's a FS thread. If you don't like the price, don't buy it. simple as that. I'm not expecting any experienced laser owner to buy it, or to care about it one bit. I Just remembered this forum when selling it came to mind, and wanted to see if anyone was interested. I was already planning on placing it on ebay if no one wanted it. I posted it locally on craigslist aswell. Just trying to be thoughtful. But it doesn't seem like that is taken kindly here.

Look at it this way... if you wanted to sell a diamond, who do you think would give you a better price for it, a guy on vacation who needs it on the spot to propose, or a jeweler at the diamond district?

The laser looks like it's in great shape, so you might be able to get a good offer for it, but it won't be $300.

Good luck with the sale though:beer:
