I'M GOING TO CLOSE THIS ONE DOWN, FOLKS. I HAVE A COUPLE OF PEOPLE "SAVING UP" FOR THE BIGGER LASERS. MORE IMPORTANTLY I HAVE TO RAISE SOME QUICK CASH SO I'LL SET UP ANOTHER DOWN AND DIRTY ONE. CHECK IT OUT FOR LASERS AT COST! I'LL POST A LINK HERE AFTER I GET IT SET UP
As usual, please refer to the item number when communicating and the earlier PM wins. Reasonable offers will be considered.
The kits hung around too long. I got bored today and built a few things. Items 10 & 11 are now SOLD lasers. These have the new Ehgemus heat sink. They both have flexdrives
Items 12 (A, B, C, D, E) are red burner modules. These have an LCC diode. They have the new Groove 2 driver, set at 425mA. They are putting out 250mW with the acrylic lens (supplied). If you get one of Jayrob's 605-G-1 lenses, they are putting out 300mW. These will need 6V-12V power source and heat sinking. These modules are $40 now $35 EACH
1 SOLD 12A = $40
12B = $40 $35
12C = $40 $35
12D = $40 $35
12E = $40 $35
Item 13 is an 8X violet (bluray). It is in the stainless steel Cree host. It has one of the last Dark Horse full length heat sinks available. It has a flexdrive. It is powered by a single 14500 battery. This one is set a little more conservatively for longer life. The driver is set at 295mA. It is putting out 320mW with the acrylic lens (supplied). If you get one of Jayrob's 405-G-1 lenses, it is putting out 400mW. This one will come with a battery and charger.
It is $400 PRICE REDUCED TO $375, $350 PRICE REDUCED AGAIN TO $325
13 = $400, $375, $350 $325
Item 15 is a JDS Uniphase 2214-30SL. This is 488nm. It is putting out 12mW at 10A. It will come with a PSU and a 110V fan. I will jumper it to run at idle. You will have to build or buy a remote interface to get full power out of it. It is $150, $125 plus shipping PRICE REDUCED to $100 plus shipping
15 = $150, $125 $100 plus shipping
Item 16 is a Lasos/Spectra-Physics laser system. This one is a box type laser. It produces eight color lines. It produces 42mW. This one comes with a 110V fan (you add the cord) and a rheostat interface. This is basically the same system that BillG got and reviewed here
http://laserpointerforums.com/f48/my-argon-ion-laser-47532.html
It is $350, PRICE REDUCED TO $300 plus shipping
16 = $350 $300, plus shipping
Item 17 is a bare tube green HeNe. This one puts out 2mW after warm-up. The beam exits from the anode end, so you can get the full plasma exposure if you are building a lamp. This is $160 PRICE REDUCED TO $150
The tube needs ~2.8KVDC. These show up on eBay quite often. You can figure $30-$70 dollars for a brick-type. Lab-style are more expensive. Here are some other shots of it
Here's the plasma
And the spot. The spot on the paper is over-saturated (my photography skillz suck). The reflected spot on my desktop is a good representation of the color and shape
17 = $160 $150
I also have several HeNe's available and a few PSU for them. If you are in the market for a HeNe, talk to me. We'll see if we can get you what you want out of what I have.
I was reading Hemlock Mike's thread about his StarwarZ laser and was reminded that I have an IR laser available
Item 20 is a LaserGlow Scorpius D. The Scorpius D is an 808nm IR laser. This one is the >800mW model
http://enthusiast.laserglow.com/GSD#
It comes with the LaserGlow case. It is $350, $300 $275 plus shipping
Item 20 = $350, $300, $275 plus shipping
Almost everyone who has inquired about the Scorpius has asked about the "burning" ability. When they find out it needs an exterior lens to focus for burning, they balk. LOL!
Folks, hand held IR lasers were not made to focus to burn. In any event, I decided to offer a lens that can be used with the laser to burn stuff. This lens slips over the front of the laser and can be used with any other 23mm (dia) head lasers. This focuses the beam at ~8 inches from the aperture. I will offer it for sale WITH THE SCORPIUS ONLY for an additional $20 AT NO ADDITIONAL COST
Peace,
dave
