The laser is a 400mW rated 532nm laser purchased direct from CNI. The model number is MGL-532-400. The average power is about 615mW according to the Thorlabs power meters at work, but actual measured power may differ slightly depending on the meter used to test it. The unit has analog modulation with 0-5V input. This input is needed to run the laser. I bought the laser to use in a scanner, but never got around to putting it together and have since lost interest in the project. I ran the laser for a few hours total to make sure it was in good order. The laser is TE cooled so it is fine to run for long periods of time. Here are a few pictures of it running. The second green is a 100mW for reference. I paid over $1400 after all the bank fees and shipping from China.

Price for the laser is now $600 + shipping.

I might also be willing to do a partial trade for a 12X BR handheld set at roughly 500mW.

PM me with any questions and I'll answer them as best I can.

Re: CNI 400mW green labby and scanpro20

bump, feel free to make me an offer. I won't necessarily accept, but if they are fair I will consider them. I need this gear gone.

scanpro20 is pending sale.

Laser is now $750 shipped in the US. That's close to half what I paid shipped and it only has a few hours on it to make sure it worked well.

Re: CNI 400mW green labby and scanpro20

the laser comes with the oem style driver box from CNI. It has the key interlock on the front and the analog input wires at the back.

Try photonlexicon.com. They are more used to lab lasers than people here.

Thanks for reminding me of PL Grix. I always forget about them for some reason.

Laser will probably go up on ebay this evening or tomorrow if no one takes it.

I just tested the laser for a potential buyer and the laser was putting out an average of about 615mW after a 10 minute warmup. The test was done over about 10 minutes also.

See the first post for a picture of the power meter screen for the more detailed results.

And that potential buyer is still in for the sale at the agreed price.

If you're pulling out of that offer, then at least have the courtesy to tell me that; rather than just reposting at a higher price.

potential to me means a deal is still in the works. There has been no formal agreement on the purchase yet and I am simply trying to get a higher offer to recoup more of my loss on this laser. Sorry I hadn't had the chance to tell you that I was still offering it for sale for higher offers, but I am at work and have to post things in between my tasks here. As soon as we finalize the deal the laser will be off the market and it will be yours.
