Well I don't know for sure yet, but I've never had problems getting my money back in the past.

Did you notice Th0ughts listed a birthdate of: "December 31 (2009)"? He has yet to be born!

Got my fingers crossed, hope PayPal pays up (promptly).

They have been known to drag their feet, at least they will refund in this case!

Sudbury, I presume? I left GBA when they started the Big Dig (too many rodents popping up the toilets when they tore up the Orange Line...)....

The vid reminded me of this kid who looked into the business end of a 200mW laser (which he claimed wasnt working), I almost had a popper.:san:

Alright guys, I got the official notice from PayPal. They were able to recover $32 that was in his PayPal balance, but that's it. I am extremely disappointed, as this was going to end up being a gift, but now I'm out $120. I also hate that there's no one at PayPal for me to talk to. You can't email anything or call anyone. Kinda leaves the buyer feeling hopeless...

What!? They won't get the rest back? This kind of shatters my confidence in PP as a safe form of payment.

Yea it seems that all the seller has to do is abandon their account. For example, maybe instead of adding a bank account or credit card, he just used pre-paid credit cards. In that case, he could scam someone and abandon the account. It really bothers me.

In my experience, PayPal is less than honest with their returns. :tsk:

Kinda remind me of (remember?) AOL.

Busy-ness, as usual. Sucks the big-1.

Well how many people does Bluefusion owe still. his paypal has been abandoned for quite some time and he's even opened up a completely new account (which he's in the process of ruining as well)

It really is rather disturbing that the people we RELY on to protect our money are just as greedy and shady as the people who we are HOPING they protect us from.
