Yeah, that 612nm looks absolutely epic. A bit outside my budget unfortunately. Hopefully someone here gets it so we at least get to see some pictures later on.

That what I’m assuming it is too, it must have been running since the dawn of the universe. But it’s still running!

A 40mW, 488nm, that has more than 50,000 hours on the clock and uses a monster amount of electricity that would trip a 15W breaker - yikes.

Hard to justify when a focusable 488nm 60mW Cyan-Blue Dot Laser Module/488nm Laser Diode/TTL
runs $40 including shipping on eBay.

Someone should offer $150 as an elephant's graveyard curiosity buy and see if the guy takes it.

TEM00 mode, lower phase noise, higher stability, smaller spectrum. That's worth something too

Maybe worth something more if those capacities are needed for a necessary real world application but 22 year old unit with over 50,000 hours is a bit over the edge when average useful life of an argon tube is like 5000 hours.
If the "seller refurbished" means new argon tube then it is worth a little more to someone who needs one. The seller does not say what he means by 'seller refurbished" however.
