Hello!

Does anyone have experience with this Z-Bolt dual-switch 5mW laser or Z-Bolt lasers in general? What is the quality like? Do they come with IR filters?

And is there a better 5mW laser around this price range ($70)?

Thanks

Ok I have dealt with z-bolt before with no hassle. Regarding price that seems a bit steep to me you can get cheap chinese ones but i doubt many of them have IR filters.

I got my first 532nm laser from them in 2002 or 03  It was
a 7mW leadlight modded by them for a few bucks extra.. Paid 350. US
for that puppy and still have it in working order, still outputting 7mW
and have never regretted any purchases from them.

Dealt with them plenty since, their lasers are IR filtered and are quality
items.

Yes the price is higher, but you get what you pay for...

Thanks for your comments guys.

I bought a cheap chinese 5mW laser before, it died after only one month of use. Wanted to get something more reliable this time.

Is it a given that all Z-Bolt lasers have IR filter? And does anyone have info about this particular model? I'm wondering if it has 100% duty cycle as suggested by the constant switch, and if the case is metal or plastic?

Thanks

From what I gather, all their greenies are IR filtered.

I would suggest you contact them and inquire. Its the
only way to be 100% sure about the questions you have..
